Our History

Black Sea Emlak Yatirim ve Ticaret A.Ş. was founded in 2020 in Istanbul, Turkiye by banking industry veteran Umair S. Ch.; Chairman & CEO. At its helm is Haroon Rashid CFA, Chief Investment Officer and ex-Head of Capital Markets for MCB. Blacksea’s raison d’etre was forged from a dislocation in the market of under-served large corporations intending to expand their investments globally in real estate projects & individual real estate investors seeking a focused and local platform, underpinned by a long-term view, to match their market aspirations with the investment objectives.
